This all inclusive, small space design boasts lavish features such as a pool with swim up bar, raised spa with natural stone water feature, in deck solar system, water wall and swim jet which allows users to swim in place against a 12 mph current. The pool and spa also feature hand fabricated stone coping and step caps, lime stone boulder formations and L.E.D lighting. The project is complemented with a sub grade covered grill/entertaining area and lush landscape with multiple craned in 85 year old olive trees.
The client envisioned a design that captured Early California with elements reminiscent of the gold mining era. The finished project includes: a “cowboy cabin” style pavilion with distressed beams and stone counters, a tube slide with dilapidated mine shaft entry into the pool, a mine shaft outdoor shower built into the backside of the water features, and underwater boulder formations. Multiple water features including a gold panning creek and treasures, such as arrow heads and gold coins and nuggets, affixed and hidden throughout the pool, complete the ultra rustic feel.
The project design features include a 65’ x 38’ main pool which spills over an infinity edge feature into a secondary wading pool. A large boulder water feature with multiple stream beds leading into the pool. Other features include 50 specimen live oak trees and a zero edge feature on the wading pool.
